Roshaka

The Roshaka, like their distant cousins the Rosh'na, are natives to the world of Roshanri. They come in many shapes and sizes, and their behaviors and actions are based upon wild instinct rather than intelligence. While it is assumed that the Roshaka come from similar origins as the Rosh'na, there is no trace of their original origins within the Codex of Verlisae or in any other religious or historical documents available in the current ages.

What are Roshaka

Roshaka are beasts, wild and untamed with close ties to The Source and with the world itself. Because of this many possess strange and sometimes baffling abilities which make them formidable and often dangerous to encounter. What they lack in intelligence they make up for in pure instinct and ferocity which separates them from the rest of the wildlife found throughout Roshanri. There seems to be a near unlimited number of types and species of Roshaka, and many in Roshanri make a living off of exterminating, corralling or taming these creatures.

Types of Roshaka

There is an ever growing number of Roshaka in the world, and with this increase in population more and more Roshaka are being discovered all over the world. Roshaka hunter guilds such as the Grim Accord have created a classification system which help identify threat levels for these various creatures, grouping them into categories based on Roshaka behaviors, aggression levels and abilities. Engaging any Roshaka is considered riskier than engaging any other type of animal or creature in the wild, and those who are not trained to do so are advised to avoid them whenever possible.
